Happy New Year, Doctor Dan, to you and your loved ones!. Dave and I just wanted to let you know how much you're appreciated! When I was lost and looking for a Naturopath, it seemed like such a daunting and kind of scary thing, putting my health in the hands of someone I don't know. Your name came up first during an internet search, and even though I'm very careful in my decisions in comparing and learning about things before I jump in, a little "voice" to me to look no more. I felt confident that you were the one I was looking for, especially after our first phone conversation. We feel very blessed and thankful that God led us to you. He's given you a special gift that I know has helped many people over the years and helped give them and their families a chance to live and be healthy and happy. Besides that, you have a reassuring, kind and caring way that gives people confidence and lets them know you care. Dave is thrilled at seeing me finally rid of my heart palpitations that wore me out every day, and it has put him at ease. We are now planning our next 50 years together! Anyway, didn't mean to write a book, but wanted to tell you how we feel and let you know how special you are! Yes, this is going to be a very special year with many blessings to come. Happy New Year!. Norma B.
Dr. Falor: Thank you for seeing me on such short notice this past Friday. You helped me tremendously. You have such a calming effect, putting this particular crisis of mine into manageable perspective. I know I will be OK now. Sincerely. Jane S.
I just wanted to give you an update....after the three days of just shakes at the end of the second week of the Cleanse, I only weighed 123 pounds yesterday! That's down 18 pounds! I love having my skinny waist that I haven't seen in 15 years....amazing! I couldn't get my husband interested in doing the Cleanse with me, but NOW after he has seen how much weight/fat I've lost, he wants to do the Cleanse too! Thanks soooo much!
If no one has told you lately -- you're wonderful at your job! Tammi M.
As a type two diabetic for 8 years, I was out of control, taking the maximum doses of oral diabetes meds, exercising like a fiend, following the American Diabetes Association's recommended diet, yet still getting worse and worse. Eventually, I had to start insulin. In December 2006, I was taking 10 units before a.m. and p.m. meals, then 12, 14, 18, 20.... up to 40 units before p.m. meal and 25 before breakfast. I was doing exactly what the doctors ordered, ate right, exercised, took the prescribed orals and insulin, monitored 4 times a day, and had to take more and more insulin, gaining more and more weight.
Ultimately, I gained 45 pounds within a little more than 2 months after starting insulin. I was going crazy with the frustration. The doctors couldn't explain things to my satisfaction. I didn't understand why - when doing everything THEIR WAY - I would gain more and have to take more insulin. I went to the Internet, in desperation, trying to find some information to help me, some answers to my multitude of questions, some solutions.
When I came upon an article that you had written, I sat at my computer and cried. Finally, I was reading something which spoke to my problems, for the first time, I felt that things were making some sense.
Here I am, just 9 months later, I've lost 52 pounds and take no insulin and the smallest dose of Metformin once a day!
Thank you, Dr. Falor for helping me regain my health. There really IS a light at the end of the tunnel!. Samantha L.
After entering your Type 2 diabetes program and following your guidelines over a year ago, I have lost 52 lbs., my BG is normal, and my A1c is 4.5! You have the right idea, why don't the "authorities" see it? My doctor is in awe- my health has never been better, I look good and feel good.
I refused traditional treatment when I was diagnosed 2 years ago (prescribed insulin), and I'm glad I did. By following you program to the letter and learning to "eat an elephant" as you like to say, I've achieved what I believe to be a permanent solution to my medical problem.
Unfortunately, I have extensive nerve damage (especially to my feet) because my doctor failed to diagnose me until two years ago, I just wish I had found out about you many years ago, before this whole thing came down upon me
You are a brilliant man, and I thank God every day for your love and kindness toward your patients. It's so sad that more people aren't aware of your natural methods of treating this dreadful disease. Maybe someday your methods will be accepted by the "authorities". Thanks again, you have given me back my health and my life. Rob K.
My husband and I received his diagnosis as a Type II five months ago. His blood sugar was over 200 and his A1C was 8.9. We were very disturbed, obviously, by the unsettling and startling news that this (then) man of only 34 years and normal weight had this condition.
Several weeks ago, he had another A1C test, with a result of 5.8!! His physician is very impressed with his dedication. I am very thankful to you, Dr. Dan, for providing him with the support and direction he needed to take charge of his own body, and ultimately, destiny. I'm looking forward to spending many more years with my healthy husband. D.C.
I have been a Type II diabetic for 10 years, and did not think I would ever se blood sugar levels below 200 again, having been told this by my medical doctor. Well, I have to say that becoming your patient has most likely saved my life and has certainly added years to it. When I started on your program, my blood sugars averaged 230 (and were climbing despite my best efforts) and I had just been put on 1000 mg. of Glucophage a day, my blood pressure was dangerously high and I was more than 100 lbs over my ideal weight.
Now a year later, I no longer need medication to maintain an average blood sugar of 100, no longer need blood pressure medication and have lost 68 lbs.! THANK YOU!! I am now confident that I will live to see my two young daughters grow up. God bless you, Dr. Falor, you are a life saver...literally! Roland L.
How does one begin to thank someone for saving their life? I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in January 2009. It was devastating because I have had ten members of my father's family die of Diabetes related problems (including my father). My elder sister had also developed the disease and was already taking three different medications a day and still was not achieving blood glucose levels below 200
I was put on metformin and glypizide by my MD and told to go on a strict diet. Well, until I discovered your book I was not getting on well at all. My blood glucose readings were hovering in the range of 180 to 240 and my A1C number was over 9.5.
I saw myself going the way of my family and resigned myself to living what life I had on an increasing regimen of more and more drugs. But then I heard about you and the success you had with diabetics just like me. I said to myself "What do I have to lose?" and called your office to schedule and appointment.
In just six short months by following your direction and adhering to your program, A1C level is at 6.3 and my blood sugar levels are holding between 110 and 120! I have reduced my medications to just one metformin a day and I fully expect my BG levels to fall further over the coming weeks!!! I expect that before my next visit to my doctor in a month, I will have reached normal levels and will be extremely proud to tell her how I have achieved this with your help.
I am so very grateful that I found you before it was too late. My eyesight has not been affected and my body shows no signs of any diabetes problems. Now I am confident that I will never develop complications and that I will live a full and happy life with normal BG levels.
I also recommended you to my sister and her husband (also diabetic and extremely ill after a stroke) and they're both very excited at finding a solution at long last to their problems.
Thank you so very much. These are very inadequate words to express my feelings. You are a Godsend, Dr. Falor. Mandy R.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in March 2002 just before my 50th birthday. It seemed that I was following in my fathers footsteps who was a diet controlled Type 2 diabetic from a similar age. I refused oral medication recommended by my doctor deciding that exercise and diet would suffice in lowering my blood sugar and immediately started to get myself into.
However despite following a vigorous exercise routine each day, I continued to experience dramatic increases in blood sugar levels throughout the day. Levels would typically rise to into the high 200's before dropping back into the upper 100's, but still too high. My A1C number had risen to 11.3 and now my doctor insisted I begin taking oral medication to control my blood sugar. This time I reluctantly agreed. I began taking Metformin twice a day initially and my blood sugar dropped into the mid 100's consistently. But then it started to climb again until after a couple of months, it was hovering in the 190's to 250. My doctor then put me on Glucophage in addition to the Metformin and again, my blood sugar dropped back into the mid 150's to 170.
At this time I was checking my blood sugar 4 to 6 times per day to find out what foods had what affect on my blood sugar. Unfortunately, my blood sugar began to go up again, and my doctor increased my medications in an attempt to lower it. This didn't work, and so he recommended a third medication, Glypizide.
At this time, I was told by a friend of mine who was a patient of Dr. Falor and had had tremendous results in lowering his blood sugar while at the same time reducing his medications. I called Dr. Falor to see if there was a chance that he could help me as well.
To make a long story short, after just a few short months, my blood sugar levels had been reduced consistently to the low 100's and I was only taking Metformin. I'm looking forward to eventually coming off that medication as well.
It seems odd that the conventional wisdom in the U.S. promotes medications that clearly do not achieve control of blood sugar and if anything, only causes the addition of more drugs, with no end in sight. Thank you, Dr. Falor for helping me to restore my health and get my life back. You're a Saint! Kind regards, Keith P.
In October, 2004 I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. My initial blood glucose reading was 240, and I was put on metformin. The PA who saw me suggested low carbohydrate diet, but also gave me the standard diabetes talk on the ADA treatment methods.
I went looking on the web for advice and found the usual dizzying array of quick-fix programs. Then a friend told me about you and I went into your office for a consultation. I began your program in earnest and now, a little more than six months later, my blood glucose levels average in the 90s to low 100's and I'm off the Metformin. I feel better than I have felt in years.
I've lost 47 lbs since beginning your program, and I'm actually looking forward to the rest of my life. So, THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping me get my life back! Chuck K.
I am 68 years of age and I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes over two years ago. My GP gave me a prescription for metformin and told me to cut out carbohydrates and begin exercising. I began an exercise routine and stuck to the diet for approximately one year. But I wasn't noticing any sustained changes in my blood sugar levels. Some days it was up, some days down. I found that I could not rely on this regimen of exercise and diet alone to maintain a low blood sugar level. My Doctor said I would be on diabetes medication for the rest of my life and even suggested a second or even a third medication.
At this point, I became very frustrated and began looking for an alternative solution. That's when I found you. After you accepted me into your program and I began taking the supplements and herbs you recommended, as well as the changes I made in my lifestyle, I started noticing changes in my energy. I was sleeping better. I was sleeping through the night, which was something I hadn't done in years!
Within weeks, my blood sugar levels started to stabilize, my blood pressure came down and I was able to begin reducing my blood sugar and blood pressure medications!
I'm now completely off my blood pressure medication and am on the lowest dose of metformin! I have also lost a total of 37 pounds! I have a ways to go, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I just thought I would drop you a line in order to give you some feedback from someone who has been diagnosed as having diabetes type 2 and has overcome this condition by following your brilliant advice.
Thank you so much, Dr. Falor I don't have the words to say how much I appreciate all you have done. A happy New Year to you Best regards. Leon S.
